About

Hi guys, as you've probably gathered from my profile, this is my blog and it's all about I.T.

My passion for IT began at school, I used to spend all my lunch time sitting at the computer in  my classroom, in the library and even booking on in the technology room just so I could sit and play silly flash games with my mates. I was obsessed with playing games in my lunchtime instead of studying and getting better grades, but back then I was immature and got distracted to easy so consequently I got average grades and actually failed my IT GCSE, it didn't help one of my teachers neglected to hand in part of my coursework before I took the exam.

Anyway my passion for the technical and computers came with me when I left school and I took a Btec 1st Diploma in I.C.T. this course had loads of things I didn't like doing and a couple I did, the first obviously being I like the inside of computers and troubleshooting problems, I loved sinking my teeth into solving a problem and at the same time fuel my curiosity of how computers worked. The second was web development I found that I was pretty good at it when I used my head and actually worked, but again I was still growing up and got distracted too much and didn't know how to apply myself better.

I took a different turn when I decided I liked cars for a while as well, so I did a vehicle mechanics course which as you would imagine I loved doing cause I got to take things apart and learn about the in's and out's of how a machine worked. In the end this wasn't for me, until recently I just sort of procrastinated in my current job as a Retail Assistant, but at the same time continued to learn and teach myself things with computers like editing registry keys, using the command prompt, configuring my OS to suit me and what I do on my and of course upgrade and tinker with the inner workings of my PC.
I am now in the process of trying to better my knowledge and technical skills by attending a local college and taking a technical course, the CompTIA A+, this course is great fun and is teaching me exactly what I want to learn and the best part is I actually get to try all these things out on my own PC and use what I learn to fix other people PC's, laptops and tablets. I just wish I was going to the college more times a week than just the one evening a week. I want to learn as much as I can and do as much as I can.

So that leads us here, I have set up a new blog that I am going to post on, I will post new technologies that are being developed or being released on the market, I will also post articles on particular subjects that I think are necessary to know, like upgrading your PC, or fixing issues with maintenance programs and keeping your PC or laptop or tablet running sweet as a nut.

I hope you enjoy what I do and I hope you learn something new as much as I hope to learn new things as well. :)
